His work was profiled in EdWeek. Karen introduced the new generationof high-quality open education resources curricula to districts as a founding leader of Open Up Resources.

In this webinar, the panelists will explain how the curriculum landscape has dramatically changed in recent years, and the important implications for school and district leaders.

The panelists will cover topics including: how to find third-party reviews of curriculum, write curriculum request for proposals, and the evaluation processes that should evolve to fit the changing landscape.

They will also discuss how curriculum selection intersects with other types of district initiatives, including deeper learning, collaborative learning, project-based learning, 1:1, education technology, and social-emotional learning initiatives.
