You are invited to the Future Ready Schools® (FRS) “Network, Implement and Share Your Future Ready Story” workshop.

The story of your school district is being told…but who controls the narrative? This workshop will take an in-depth look at the Community Engagement gear while focusing on the next steps for creating and sustaining a district brand presence.

The Community Engagement gear focuses on Community partnerships include the formal and informal local and global community connections, collaborative projects, and relationships that advance the school’s learning goals. Digital communications, online communities, social media, and digital learning environments often serve as connectors for these partnerships.

During the workshop, participants will:

  • review the FRS five-step planning process specifically focusing on the Community engagement gear,
  • develop an engagement strategy for transforming the narrative of the district;
  • begin a plan to improve local community engagement and outreach;
  • develop concrete next steps for improving parent communication and engagement.

This workshop will take an in-depth look at the Community Engagement gear while focusing on the next steps for implementing the district’s digital learning plan and how the success of the plan can impact high school graduation.
