SETDA will share details about the expanded Guide to Quality Instructional Materials, an online toolkit to support the vetting and curation of quality instructional materials for all learners. The toolkit includes sections on planning, budgeting, selection, implementation, and effectiveness with specific details of several state and district vetting processes. New details regarding procurement, review processes and details on content area considerations have been added. Professional learning session templates are available for leaders to leverage this resource via trainings or conferences. In addition, Jeremy A. Wartz from Oregon’s Department of Education shares how the state supports the vetting of instructional materials including OER. SETDA’s Essential Elements for Digital Learning community on edWeb.
